Victoria’s alpine regions burst into a spectacular colourful sea of wildflowers during the warmer months. I particularly love watching the sun dip below the horizon in an alpine meadow, it’s such a romantic scene, where warm, gentle colours seem to wrap around the landscape like an embrace. As golden hour fades, the mountains blush with vibrant shades of pink, orange, and purple. Sunbeams filter through the tall grasses and native wildflowers, creating an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere. These stunning places are my refuge; a source of inspiration, a haven for botanical research, and, most importantly, somewhere I can forget about time for a little while.
