When in Spring

COLLECTION: Preservation

The sky stretches blue and endless, and in spring the coastal heathlands and rugged clifftops of Cape Schanck (Victoria) awaken in bloom. Wildflowers spill across the landscape in colour and motion, while butterflies drift through the air like living confetti. Coastal tea tree (Leptospermum laevigatum) and native daisies (Brachyscome multifida) flower in generous profusion, and if you arrive at just the right moment, you may glimpse energetic eastern spinebills darting between stems, probing the slender pink bells of native heath (Epacris impressa) for nectar.

For a moment, everything feels like a perfectly orchestrated symphony.
