COLLECTION: Preservation

Moments of quiet reflection require intention, small, deliberate acts that separate us from the noise of the outside world. It might be the decision to sit still, to slow the breath, or to engage in something as simple and creative as a paintbrush dipped in ink, a page left open without expectation. In that softened space, the world feels less demanding and more honest.

As I enter my garden, I pick a delicate blue boronia flower to use as the reference for this sweet collage. At first glance, I notice its fragility, yet it is unmistakably rich in presence. This dainty flower holds significance in the horticultural world: its sweet fragrance lingers beyond its form, its adaptability speaks to resilience, and its presence draws in local wildlife, quietly sustaining life around it.

It does not need to be large to be essential.

Perhaps that is the reflection it offers, that one being, one act of kindness, one moment of care can ripple outward, touching and supporting an entire system. Like the Boronia flower, we do not always need to be grand or visible to make a meaningful difference. Sometimes the most lasting impact comes from simply being present and offering what we can, where we are.
